DAY 1: TANGIER TO CHEFCHAOUEN:
This morning we will pick you up from your hotel in Tangier, visit the Kasbah and Medina, the big one and the little one, the old one. Exit the old city, stop to rest and continue through spectacular scenery and beautiful views of the Rif Mountains region that has been inhabited by Berbers since prehistoric times. Arrive in Chefchaouen, the typical Berber village, drop in accommodation, to relax, in the afternoon go out to fully enjoy the most beautiful blue city among the Rif mountains discover the places, . It includes the palace and the famous Makhzen the medina Uta el Hamame. Have dinner somewhere back to the hotel. Breakfast included.
DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN TO FES:
Our private tour of Morocco continues to Fez, the ancient imperial city. The city of Fes is also one of the first holy cities of the Muslim cult in Morocco. It also has one of the oldest universities in the world. We will explore the main tourist attractions and important monuments.
DAY 3: EXCURSION IN FES:
After breakfast, you will be taken on a guided tour to explore Fes, which is the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its small streets and alleys. Our visit begins by visiting the Royal Palace of the gate, the Jewish seat, the first Mellah in Morocco. We will make sure that you visit all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the famous karaouine, the University of Al, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the cooperative tiles and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the entire Medina of Fes. In the afternoon, we will visit the new town of La ville nouvelle for a drink before returning back to your riad.
DAY 4: FES – MIDELT – RISSANI - MERZOUGA DESERT ERG CHEBBI:
In the morning we will head towards the mountains, in a region known as Immouzzer, which is covered in forests of cedar, juniper and cork oak. The area is known for its abundant wildlife, and many types of birds, wild boar and Barbary apes can be seen on our Scenic Drive. The road will then begin to climb into the Middle Atlas Mountains; the slopes can be dotted with the tents and goat herds of the Berber nomads who call this rugged region home. After a late lunch in Midelt, we continue along mountain roads with views of the great flowing Oued Ziz. Passing kasbahs and palm groves, we will continue through the adobe-colored city of Er-Rachidia and in the afternoon, arrive at Merzouga, a small town on the outskirts of the Sahara desert. Night in Merzouga.
DAY 5: 4X4 MERZOUGA AND CAMEL RIDE:
After breakfast at the hotel, you can start exploring the area. You will visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to enjoy their music and lifestyle. Not far away there is the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. You can also visit the Berber nomad cable house where many handicrafts have lower prices than in big cities. In the afternoon, guided by an experienced camel man, you will explore the sand sea of Merzouga with a camel trek hopefully you will enjoy a wonderful sunset over the golden dunes. Overnight is in the desert camp, toilets equipped with flash.
DAY 6: MERZOUGA – TODGHA GORGE – DADÈS GORGE:
We'll get up early to watch the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before heading back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will cross the valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad lined with palm trees to arrive and visit the impressive Gorges of the Dades Gorges. Dinner and accommodation in a traditional riad.
DAY 7: DADÈS GORGE – OUARAZAZATE –AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH:
Leaving the Dades Gorges valley after breakfast, drive to Ouarzazate, Moroccan Hollywood, a backdrop of many famous movies, we will visit the cinematographic museum, then UNESCO protected sites of Ait Benhaddou, the most impressive kasbah and well preserved fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed here, such as gladiator. Then we leave Ait Benhaddou and start heading towards the majestic Mount Atlas. We will cross the High Atlas through the highest mountain road in Morocco, Tizi n'Tichka pass, 2260m altitude, offers stunning views of valleys, mountains and many of the nearby Berber villages. We will arrive in Marrakesh.
