DAY 1: FES –AZROU- MIDELT- MERZOUGA CAMEL RIDE
You will be picked up from Fez at 08:00 and travel south across the Middle Atlas to Erfoud... You will stop at Ifrane known as the Genoa of Morocco for a short walk and coffee. You will then continue to Azrou for a walk in the famous cedar forests with the Barbary Macaques in their natural habitat. Later, you will drive through the Middle Atlas and Berber villages to Midelt for lunch. Your journey will take you southeast to Erfoud passing through Morocco's only tunnel through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and high cliffs. In the late afternoon you will reach the Erg Chebbi desert where you will stop for mint tea and rest before starting your camel safari to an authentic bivouac camp situated in the middle of the beautiful sand dunes. You will watch the sun set over the dunes and enjoy a local dinner night with a drumming party.
DAY 2: ERG CHEBBI – MERZOUGA – MIDELT – FES
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for the north of Morocco, to Fes. Your journey will take you through the Ziz Valley oasis and gorge to Midelt for lunch. Then to Azrou with a stop in the cedar forests where you will see Barbary apes in their natural environment; You will arrive in Ifran in the late afternoon for coffee and a walk. Return to the hotel in Fez.
