DAY 1: TANGIER:
Our staff will pick you up at the Tanger airport and transfer you to your accommodation. Once installed and at the agreed time, our driver will pick you up to start a small tour of the city. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 2: TANGIER TO CHEFCHAOUEN:
Today we pick you up from your hotel and travel to the small fortified town called Chefchaouen. Its buildings and houses are painted in blue and white and it is one of the most beautiful cities in the Rif mountains.
DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN TO MEKNES, VOLUBILIS AND FES:
After breakfast, you will be taken on a guided tour to explore Fes, which is the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its small streets and alleys. Our visit begins by visiting the Royal Palace of the gate, the Jewish seat, the first Mellah in Morocco. We will make sure that you visit all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the famous karaouine, the University of Al, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the cooperative tiles and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the entire Medina of Fes. in the afternoon we will visit the new town of la ville nouvelle for a drink before returning back to your riad.
DAY 4: EXCURSION IN FES:
Today it transforms into another life I wonder about fes medina with its souks and alleys that have not changed since the Middle Ages. Exploring the medina of Fez, the tanners' quarter, the Bab Boujlloud blue gate, the great Bou Inania medersa, with its cedar wood, stucco and onyx marble sculptures and decoration. Admire the Tijani zaouïa and the souk instrument makers before reaching the mzara the place where moulay idriss made the decision to build the city. -The Nejjarine Plaza Museum and the souk cabinetmakers. The magnificent carved foundouk in the square of the Museum of Wood Arts and Crafts. The kissaria where jewels and fine fabrics are for sale, Es-Seffarine Plaza, the plaza d'ascia, the tanners', the old Palace whose Dar Batha Arabo-Andalusian style. The Moqri Palace houses architectural treasures of rare refinement. After burning off lots of calories it's time to head out over the ramparts on an excursion to visit the Jewish gat courter palace and the borj, then on to the pottery quarter. Return to your accommodation including breakfast.
DAY 5: FES – MIDELT – RISSANI - DESERT IN ERG CHEBBI: MERZOUGA:
After breakfast, we will leave for Midelt passing through the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. We will pass through Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, an important craft center specializing in cedar woodworking. After the Zad pass (2,178m), we will arrive in Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, we will descend towards Erfoud and Errachidia through the Ziz Valley, dotted with palm trees. We will continue towards the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and hotel accommodation.
DAY 6: ERG CHEBBI EXCURSION 4X4 MERZOUGA:
After breakfast at the hotel, we will go on a tour around Erg Chebbi, visit a house and listen to some gnaoua music, originally from Ghana and Sudan. We will visit some abandoned mines, Berber nomads and an oasis of palm trees. Around noon we return to Merzouga. After lunch and free time to rest, we meet the camels that are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in a camp equipped with drum music in the middle of the Sahara; this is a great opportunity to take beautiful photos of the sunset and sunrise. When we arrive at the camp, we will climb a high dune to see the sunset. We will spend the night in the hotel with thousands of stars, a Berber tent, but sparkling (the sky full of stars).
DAY 7: MERZOUGA – TODGHA GORGE – DADÈS - OUARZAZATE:
In the morning we will return to the hotel by dromedary to have breakfast and take a shower. Then we will depart for Rissani, the first imperial city with its interesting market, where nomads from the surrounding area come to sell their cattle and buy the things they need. There you can taste if you fancy the tasty Berber pizza and we will continue our way to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. Stop to contemplate the charming adobe kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the route, and the interesting geological formations of the Draa Valley. Dinner and accommodation in a riad.
DAY 8: OUARAZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH:
Breakfast and visit to the famous Ait Ben Haddou. The trip is a succession of strengths, today's session is another of them. The 200 km. that separate Ouarzazate from Marrakech run through the High Atlas. The road must be traveled slowly, due to its beauty and because it is a mountain pass that crosses the Atlas at 2,260m. To round off the spectacular nature of the day, we will make the way following the old caravan route. We will continue towards the red city of Marrakech, stopping to be able to photograph the panoramic views of the High Atlas. Accommodation in hotel or riad/hotel.
DAY 9: MARRAKECH EXCURSION:
In the morning after a good breakfast, we will enjoy one of the 4 imperial cities of Morocco through an official local guide, who will be able to explain everything about the city. One of the most famous parts and recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO is its famous Jemaa el Fna Square. In it you will find thousands of outdoor activities: Jugglers, music, fakirs, snake charmers,... In the square you will awaken all your senses, with its many sounds, aromas, flavors and colors that characterize it. Accommodation with breakfast in Marrakech. Dinner not included.
DAY 10: MARRAKECH EXCURSION:
